AT Ski Mobility

HML offers a progressive approach to alpine touring (AT) ski mobility, helping individuals advance from their first time on skis toward the proficiency needed to travel safely and effectively in the backcountry.

The progression begins with ski resort instruction to develop foundational skills, then builds into uphill travel, controlled descents, and navigating varied snow and terrain. Along the way, participants develop avalanche awareness skills and practice using rescue tools, including beacons, probes, and shovels.

For advanced skiers, the progression can extend to an introduction to ski mountaineering in the world-class mountain terrain surrounding Jackson Hole.
